The Nordic School in Dar es Salaam offers daycare and after school activities based on Nordic pedagogical principles.
The school is situated in Oysterbay on the corner of Chole Road and Ruvu Street with lush green grounds and an expansive playground.

The Nordic School preschool is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:30. Until 12:00, the children are mainly divided into two groups, Kidogo and Kubwa, and do separate age-appropriate activities.

The Nordic School Afterschool Program is open to children aged 5.5 to 12 years and runs from 14:30 to 16:30. A snack is served daily at 14:30, followed by the scheduled activity and then free play.

The Nordic School receives grants from the Swedish National Agency for Education for conducting supplementary classes in Swedish for Swedish children living in Tanzania.
At the Nordic School we believe that childhood has intrinsic value and have a holistic and acknowledging approach to the children in order to meet every child’s need for security, care, belongingness, and respect.
Play is a key focus at the Nordic school and we strive to have a safe learning environment where the values of equality, equity, mutual respect and diversity are paramount.
