Nordic School Menu 2018/2019

Our excellent kitchen staff cooks fresh and nutritious meals for all our students and staff every day. The menu is a 4 week rotating menu (see weekly menus below). We strive to offer a variety of traditional Nordic dishes, continental dishes and local dishes from Tanzania. 

Monday:
Lunch: Chicken, vegetable soup, pasta & bread roll & cucumber sticks, broccoli, green peas
Snack: Sausage roll & watermelon
Tuesday:
Lunch: Coconut rice with beans & lettuce, cucumber sticks, cauliflower
Snack: Waffle & banana
Wednesday:
Lunch: Beef stroganoff, mash potatoes & tomato boats, green beans, sweet corn
Snack: Plain yogurt & mixed fruit salad
Thursday:
Lunch: Vegetable pizaa, meat pizza & carrot sticks, broccoli, tomato boats
Snack: Mandazi & apple
Friday:
Lunch: Ugali with fish, spinach & cucumber sticks, tomato boats, sweet corn
Snack: Carrot bread, tomato/cucumber slices, watermelon

Monday:
Lunch: Butternut, carrot & squash soup, pasta & bread roll & cucumber sticks, broccoli, green peas
Snack: Sausage roll & watermelon
Tuesday:
Lunch: Chili con carne, rice & lettuce, cucumber sticks, broccoli
Snack: Waffle & banana
Wednesday:
Lunch: Fish & chips, tomato boats, green beans, sweet corn
Snack: Plain yogurt & mixed fruit salad
Thursday:
Lunch: Chicken curry, rice, & carrot sticks, cauliflower, tomato boats
Snack: Squash bread, tomato/cucumber slices, watermelon
Friday:
Lunch: Beef lasagna, Vegetable lasagna & cucumber sticks, tomato boats
Snack: Cinnamon roll & apple

Lunch: Beef meat balls, oven baked potatoes with fresh tomato sauce & lettuce, cucumber sticks, broccoli

Lunch: Chicken pilau & tomato boats, green beans, sweet corn
Snack: Bread roll, tomato/cucumber slices, watermelon
Thursday:
Lunch: Fish cakes, rice and coconut sauce, & carrot sticks, cauliflower, tomato boats
Snack: Maandazi & apple
Friday:
Lunch: Hamburgers & cucumber, tomato, green pepper, onion (slices), lettuce
Snack: Plain yogurt & mixed fruit salad
